Ballooning Here is a look at the Coca-Cola
"Bottle" Special Shape balloon inflating at the Great Prosser Balloon Rally,
2009. Note, a surface wind of nearly ten (10) mph was blowing during the
inflation, pretty stable considering it's size.

Watch the 25’ Coca-Cola RC Airship
Launch then approach to land.
Blooper … Two scenes, the first, a mysterious run up to full power and a diving right turn (uncontrolled) results in an ugly (really ugly) crash landing. In the second scene, the pilot
is reminded that the turning radius of the airship isn’t quite as tight
as he might have hoped … good recovery though.
Taken on approach to landing during
a test flight at Wildhorse Resort in Pendleton this clip provides a unique
view (port and aft) of the landing approach. Note the airship shadow through
the engine against the golf course early on in the clip.

a training flight in Boise’s Ann Morrison Park. This is Laurie’s first
launch and landing.
Here is a short clip of the Coca-Cola
RC Airship in a radical climb, then dive toward the ground. You wouldn’t
think it would be so capable of such extreme flight configuration. Wind
at the time was about 8 mph.
In this short clip you’ll see
engine rotation from lift off with transition to level flight.
