Pierce Park Elementary School-Boise, Idaho

(Our Visit was Arranged by Wal*Mart 2861 – Boise, Idaho)

Hey Kids – Its pilot Scott here, we had a wonderful time at Pierce Park Elementary today.

Pierce Park is a cool school, with great kids. (Every one of you was so nice to us). You were all so patient as you waited your turn to come look inside the balloon, you made a good impression on all of us.

When you guys came out to watch the balloon, it was all laid out and ready to fill with air, but we arrived at your school before you did to get it ready.

In this picture the Team takes the balloon out of the bag.

In these pictures, we’re briefing your teachers about safety and then, I took one student inside the balloon to help me get it ready to “stand-up”.

This is what our “Gr-r-reat TONY Balloon” looked like in your school yard!

You all seemed to enjoy coming up to the basket for a look inside.

6th Grade Students helped us pack TONY back in to his bag, it was a good lesson in Teamwork for everyone that helped. (it actually fit back in the bag !)

One of our favorite things about visiting schools is chatting with kids after we fly.

Do you remember what we talked about ?

“Eating a good breakfast before school each day and the sheep, the rooster and the duck”

Well, even though we only got to spend a few hours with you, we sure enjoyed our visit. We hope you did too. Until we see you again, remember that good breakfast before school, its very important to get to school ready to learn.  Thanks for sharing part of your day with the Kellogg Balloon Team !
