Hidden Lakes Elementary School -Dothan, Alabama
(Our Visit was Arranged by Wal*Mart #2534)
|
Hi kids,
I just wanted to thank you all so much for letting
us visit your school. I know this is a busy time of the year and Easter
break will soon be here. The weather was bad and lots of rain and hail.
You didn’t let that stop you from having a great time. All of the students
listened very well as we talked about our “Gr-r-reat Tony Balloon”, the
weather and the choices we have to make sometimes.
Remember the great time we all had talking about our body and how it’s like a car. You all laughed and so did I. Then I explained that if you don’t put gas in your car you can’t go to school, shopping or even take a vacation at Disneyworld. You all agreed and then you laughed at me when I told you your tummy is like a gas tank. You all agreed that you won’t go far in your day if you don’t start your day with a full tummy. We also talked about your memory and your imagination too. We shared some jobs we would like if we studied hard and finished our home work. Everyone was so good and polite that we had a special visit by my boss “Tony the Tiger” and you all really made him feel special with your TONY chant. I know all the older kids had some testing (SAT) and the second graders were on a field trip, but I’m so glad we got to spend such a great time together. I know many of you will come to visit us at Wal*Mart and get your rings that Tony asked me to give to you. Ms. Laura from the Wal*Mart Super Center was sure nice to tell me about you all and allow us to visit your school. Hewie Lewie Gator is the coolest mascot I have ever seen. You all listened well and have a great school go to. Maybe we could come back to see you again… Here are some pictures we took while we were at your school:
