Washington D.C. and the World War II MemorialHi everyone … Flat Stanley got a chance to visit Washington D.C. earlier this week with Jim and Janine Frame. While they were there, they took a moment to visit the brand new, not even open to the public yet, World War II Memorial, located on the Mall.
Just so you know that Flat Stanley was really there, they snapped the picture you see below.
The memorial will soon be dedicated to all those people that gave their lives in service to our country and will soon be seen as sacred ground … so that is why Flat Stanley doesn’t appear in any pictures in the Memorial area proper, but we thought you would enjoy a “sneak” peek, (and how cool that Flat Stanley got to see it too !)
