Equipment & Stuff For Sale
| Yes it’s
true … Laurie and I are preparing to shift our focus toward a semi-retirement.
No more 200 days a year on the road. It’s time to pick and choose the events and promotions we want to participate in. That of course leaves us a WAREHOUSE FULL of problems to take care of before we’re able to downsize our building … Our problem could be your good fortune. Perhaps there is something you could use, take a look and if you have any questions please take a moment and give me a call at 208-375-0512 during the day or on my cellular at 208-890-2670 in the evening.

| We acquired
this balloon in 2001. It was inspected by Go Lightly in November of that
year with a burner rebuild and new fuel hose from Aerostar.
The pilot sits on a leather bench over a twenty gallon stainless tank. We get it out a couple times a year and pump some air in it and stand it up. It has a Velcro top that is in excellent condition. Beyond that, it has not been used. There are no holes and no damage … I’ve often thought about changing the flying wires to a 4 point set up and placing the balloon under an Aurora basket. For more information, please
call 208-375-0512 to discuss. FOB Boise, Idaho

Here is a little something to pump up your “small” balloon. It’s been here in the warehouse for years, not sure where I got it (think Laurie might have used it many moons ago) … It is a home built (at least it looks like it) Briggs 4 hp, wooden prop fan. Its on wheels. Pick it up here at the warehouse or we’ll arrange to have it shipped for you. Price : $200 |

This one is kind of cool … over the years we’ve seen these aluminum baskets come back to service as refurbished chrome lower ends with updated burners. This one is just waiting to be picked up by someone looking to restore it … we’ll even include two sets of original burners in two and four can versions (free). There are no tanks or hoses. FOB Boise, ready to be picked
up or shipped. We’re happy to prep it and do the leg work to get it to
you.

Back in the day … 1976 to be exact … Raven built a stunning basket that had no equal. The hand rails were even woven. As luck would have it, I have one and its available for purchase. This is the basket from my very first custom S-55 balloon “N87CD” we called it “Godseye”. Can’t tell you why I kept it all these years, I just did … in fact I had to buy it back after selling the system at one point in the mid 80’s. I’ve been told that in skilled hands (mine aren’t so much) that it could be refurbed and fly once again. That would be pretty cool. There is one tank. The other ended up in a certain repair station in the Seattle area. I’m sure the tank would need to be re-certified. No hoses or burners. I made the mistake of giving away one upright leg and some upright hardware years ago, but I know that Mike Bauwens has a stack of them outside his shop so that shouldn’t be of great concern. Take a look … . |
