So, you are thinking about going for a ride in a hot air balloon. Excellent! It is one of those things that many would love to do. Did you know that a ride in a hot air balloon is often among the top three things many people place on their “bucket list” ?

In Boise, Idaho, there are many options for hot air balloon rides. There are many private providers of rides, these are local balloon pilots that take people for rides to help offset the cost of their hobby, ballooning.

And, as you may have read elsewhere on this web site, our Spencer Air operation will be available in Boise and the surrounding area on a limited basis beginning next summer (2012). If you would like to do something that very few people get to do you need to reserve space at this years Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic for V.I.P. Day 2012, August 31.

This is one of the most limited, and therefore elite, passenger opportunities in all of ballooning. Fewer than 25 general-public, passenger spots are available to be secured in event balloons each year.

Sure, you can have a fun and interesting ballooning experience launching from the Fairgrounds with one of the local pilots, but … If you would like to experience a launch with forty (40) other hot air balloons … If you’d like to have the beautiful backdrop of the downtown Boise skyline and mountains as your window to the world just once … If you’d like to support one of Boise’s oldest family friendly events … then you need to book your space right away.
